The geographic coordinates of Poklok-Kamrang Assembly constituency are: 27°10'33.6"N 88°20'40.6"E. Poklok-Kamrang shares its borders with six other Assembly constituencies. Other Sikkim Assembly constituencies adjacent to Poklok-Kamrang are: Salghari-Zoom, Rinchenpong, Barfung, Temi-Namphing, Namchi-Singhithang, Melli. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: West Bengal.

There were a total of 16,800 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election, of which 8,336 were male, 8,464 female and 0 of the third gender. In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 15,595 registered voters, of which 8,336 were male, 7,737 female and 0 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 13,477 registered voters in this constituency, of which 6,910 were male, 6,567 female and 0 of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 10,595 which included 5,525 male, and 5,070 female.

In the 2019 Sikkim Assembly elections, Pawan Chamling of SDF won in this constituency beating Kharka Bahadur Rai of SKM by a margin of 2,899 votes which was 22.16% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kedar Nath Rai of SDF was the winner in this seat beating Bhoj Raj Rai of SKM by a margin of 4,671 votes which was 40.22% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Pawan Chamling of SDF won this seat defeating Purna Kumari Rai of INC by a margin of 5,956 votes which was 65.12% of the total votes polled for the seat.
