In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Kumsi Sidisow of BJP won in this constituency beating Kalo Dususow of INC by a margin of 7,135 votes which was 67.74% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kumsi Sidisow of INC was the winner in this seat beating Gandhi Sakrinsow of BJP by a margin of 5,083 votes which was 46.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Kumsi Sidisow of PPA won this seat defeating Naresh Glow of INC by a margin of 4,998 votes which was 43.24% of the total votes polled for the seat.
