In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 12,750 registered voters, of which 6,930 were male, 6,847 female and 0 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 12,613 registered voters in this constituency, of which 5,801 were male, 6,812 female and 0 of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 12,005 which included 5,542 male, and 6,463 female.

Sagalee Assembly constituency was scheduled to go the polls in Phase 1 of the 2024 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections on Friday, April 19, 2024 and counting of votes was to be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024. However, because of only one contesting candidate in this constituency, voting was not necessary for this seat and the candidate was declared the unopposed winner.

In the 2019 state Assembly elections, this seat voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and the results were declared on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

In the 2014 polls, this constituency was scheduled to vote in Phase 1 on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 and the results were to be declared on Friday, May 16, 2014. However, because of only one contesting candidate in this constituency, voting was not necessary for this seat and the candidate was declared an unopposed winner.
