Sagalee Assembly constituency was scheduled to go the polls in Phase 1 of the 2024 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections on Friday, April 19, 2024 and counting of votes was to be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024. However, because of only one contesting candidate in this constituency, voting was not necessary for this seat and the candidate was declared the unopposed winner.

In the 2019 state Assembly elections, this seat voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and the results were declared on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

In the 2014 polls, this constituency was scheduled to vote in Phase 1 on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 and the results were to be declared on Friday, May 16, 2014. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Shri Nabam Tuki of INC won this seat defeating Sri Tad Tana of NCP by a margin of 3,692 votes which was 38.46% of the total votes polled for the seat.
