In 2014, Honchun Ngandam of INC was the winner in this seat beating Longwang Wangham of PPA by a margin of 2,038 votes which was 16.41% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Honchun Ngandam of INC won this seat defeating Anok Wangsa of PPA by a margin of 4,555 votes which was 37.27% of the total votes polled for the seat.
