In 2014, Wangki Lowang of INC was the winner in this seat beating Wanglong Rajkumar of BJP by a margin of 916 votes which was 13.31% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Wangki Lowang of INC won this seat defeating Wanglong Rajkumar of NCP by a margin of 2,693 votes which was 37.18% of the total votes polled for the seat.
