In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Chau Zingnu Namchoom of BJP won in this constituency beating Shri Mualin Agan of NPEP by a margin of 10,755 votes which was 56.05% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Zingnu Namchoom of INC was the winner in this seat beating Chow Pingthika Namchoom of BJP by a margin of 4,311 votes which was 25.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Nang Sati Mein of IND won this seat defeating Chow Pingthika Namchoom of TMC by a margin of 5,699 votes which was 35.3% of the total votes polled for the seat.
