In 2014, Markio Tado of INC was the winner in this seat beating Thaji Gichak Kiogi of NCP by a margin of 813 votes which was 9.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Markio Tado of PPA won this seat defeating Takam Sorang of INC by a margin of 2,713 votes which was 34.74% of the total votes polled for the seat.
