However, because of only one contesting candidate in this constituency, voting was not necessary for this seat and the candidate was declared the unopposed winner.

In the 2019 state Assembly elections, this seat voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and the results were declared on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Jikke Tako of JDU won in this constituency beating Thaji Gichak Kiogi of BJP by a margin of 105 votes which was 0.96% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Markio Tado of INC was the winner in this seat beating Thaji Gichak Kiogi of NCP by a margin of 813 votes which was 9.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Markio Tado of PPA won this seat defeating Takam Sorang of INC by a margin of 2,713 votes which was 34.74% of the total votes polled for the seat.
