In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 12,238 registered voters, of which 5,946 were male, 5,932 female and 0 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 12,174 registered voters in this constituency, of which 6,361 were male, 5,813 female and 0 of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 11,137 which included 5,886 male, and 5,251 female.

However, because of only one contesting candidate in this constituency, voting was not necessary for this seat and the candidate was declared the unopposed winner.

In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Mutchu Mithi of NPEP won in this constituency beating Laeta Umbrey of BJP by a margin of 400 votes which was 4.08% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Mutchu Mithi of INC was the winner in this seat beating Laeta Umbrey of PPA by a margin of 2,185 votes which was 22.57% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Shri Laeta Umbrey of TMC won this seat defeating Smti Pomoya Mithi of INC by a margin of 833 votes which was 8.76% of the total votes polled for the seat.
