In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Ninong Ering of INC won in this constituency beating Er. Tatung Jamoh of BJP by a margin of 571 votes which was 4.71% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Tatung Jamoh of INC was the winner in this seat beating Tangor Tapak of BJP by a margin of 834 votes which was 7.96% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Tangor Tapak of BJP won this seat defeating Omak Apang of INC by a margin of 661 votes which was 6.36% of the total votes polled for the seat.
