In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 7,936 registered voters, of which 4,345 were male, 4,196 female and 0 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 6,936 registered voters in this constituency, of which 3,243 were male, 3,693 female and of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 6,426 which included 3,021 male, and 3,405 female.

In the 2019 state Assembly elections, this seat voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and the results were declared on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

In the 2014 polls, this constituencywas scheduled to vote in Phase 1 on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 and the results were to be declared on Friday, May 16, 2014. However, because of only one contesting candidate in this constituency, voting was not necessary for this seat and the candidate was declared an unopposed winner.

In 2009, Pakke Kessang voted in Phase 1 on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 and the results were declared on Tuesday, October 22, 2009.

In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Biyuram Wahge of BJP won in this constituency beating Atum Welly of INC by a margin of 2,222 votes which was 32.3% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kameng Dolo of INC was the winner in this seat uncontested. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Atum Welly of INC won this seat defeating Techi Hemu of NCP by a margin of 67 votes which was 1.17% of the total votes polled for the seat.
