In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Somlung Mossang of IND won in this constituency beating Jawra Maio of BJP by a margin of 2,379 votes which was 14.66% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Nikh Kamin of PPA was the winner in this seat beating C C Singpho of INC by a margin of 1,328 votes which was 10.4% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, C C Singpho of INC won this seat defeating Khumral Lungphi of NCP by a margin of 955 votes which was 7.53% of the total votes polled for the seat.
